June 2020

Posted: May 27, 2020

As Phase 2 of British Columbia's Restart Plan begins, June 1st will mark the start of a slow, cautious reopening here at Excalibur.

This will be far from a simple reboot of the 2019/20 season we left behind in mid-March. On the contrary, there will be a limited number of in-person classes offered to our more experienced dancers, as they are best prepared to manage the social distancing requirements, as well as the other health and safety considerations demanded by the current situation.

That said, we continue to offer a selection of online classes, all of which are now accepting enrollment on our website.

PLEASE NOTE: As of June 1st, these are now RECURRING classes. Submitting a registration will enroll you for the entire month of June. This applies to all lessons, both online and off. Classes will meet once per week, allowing for a more consistent (and convenient) learning experience. The schedule will then be updated at the end of the month, requiring a new round of registration for July and beyond.

It should also be noted that the pricing has been adjusted to take the longer commitment into account. Though you now pay for the entire month up front, the cost per class has been significantly reduced.

From this point forward, so as to avoid any confusion, all virtual lessons will be tagged as [Online] for the purposes of registration.

If you are enrolled in our 2019/20 troupe program, you have already been contacted and should be aware of the June schedule for the reopening. Enrollment is now available online, via your account. All classes taking place at the studio next month are tagged as [In-Person].

Should you require it, as always, please do not hesitate to contact the studio for assistance.
