Purchasing Tickets

Posted: Oct 22, 2013

As you may know, recital tickets are now on sale. Whether this is your first recital or your thirty-first, there are a few things to consider when visiting the ticket tables:

It is important that you know which class(es) your student(s) attend, to ensure you select seats for the correct performance. We can double-check your student's placement if necessary. If you're not 100% sure, don't be afraid to ask. It's not enough to know a student's age as that can be misleading and result in buying tickets to the wrong show! Though your dancer may be 6 years old (for example), they could be enrolled in a 7-9 class. If there's any doubt, let us know and we'll confirm your student's placement.

The best way to guarantee that you have the correct tickets is by color (as follows):

  • If your student attends a Mini (3 year old) or Junior (4 year old) class, your tickets will be RED for 10am ("Santa Party").
  • If your student attends a Kinder (5 or 6 years old) or 7-9 class, your tickets will be BLUE for noon ("Frosty Follies").
  • If your student attends a 10-12 or Teen class, your tickets will be GREEN for 3pm ("Mistletoe Magic").
  • Highland and musical theatre students, your situation may be a bit more complicated. Be sure to confirm your placement with office staff prior to purchasing tickets.

If you already have tickets, PLEASE double check that they are the correct color (mistakes do happen). If you are about to visit the ticket tables, it is helpful to know which color/performance you will need, as doing so will make the process that much faster. The lines can get pretty long--we do our best to assist everyone as quickly as possible--and we thank you in advance for your patience.

Generally, ticket purchases are non-refundable. In the past, we've had individuals buy large blocks of tickets and attempt to return a portion once they've confirmed attendance with friends and family. This will no longer be permitted, as it is unfair to everyone else looking to purchase tickets.

Also remember: Dancers get a free ticket to their performance! Don't forget to include it when selecting your seats (we'll do our best to remind you). :)
